About Bear Creek Lights
Step into a world of wonder at Bear Creek Lights! Each fall we transform the park’s scenic show garden into a magical illuminated experience. This family-friendly event celebrates the beauty of nature at night with dazzling light displays, offering a perfect kickoff to the holiday season. Whether you're strolling solo or with loved ones, Bear Creek Lights is a must-see tradition that brings the community together under a canopy of lights.

Ticketing and Returns
Please book your visit through the ticketing site. Free tickets are available in 30-minute time slots, check in at the start of your chosen time. You’re welcome to stay longer than your ticketed slot.

Each order allows up to 6 tickets to be booked. To book more tickets, simply place an additional order.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible by following the instructions in your confirmation email.

Getting to Bear Creek Lights
If you are traveling by car, make your way to the main parking lot off 88 Avenue (one block east of King George Boulevard) or the parking lot off 140 Street.
By bus from Surrey Central Station, you can take the R1 or 321 down King George Blvd or the 325 or 326 along 140 Street.
There is a bike rack at the entrance to the event space, next to the stadium and across from the playground. 

Accessibility 

  • Garden/light display pathways are user-friendly for visitors of all abilities. 
  • The kilometer of garden trails are paved. 
  • The trails are flat with varied, gentle slopes. 

Parking 
Event parking is in both the main parking lot off 88 Avenue and 140 Street. Some parking may be available near the Surrey Art Centre.

Join us in the plaza of the garden for music, activities and more!

Check-in
When your timeslot comes around, make your way to the entrance to the garden on the east side of the stadium. Have your e-ticket ready to show staff at the ticket booth. 

Walk-Up Entries
If pre-registered tickets are sold-out, walk-up entries may be accommodated if space is available. Tickets can continue to become available as returns come through. Please keep a close eye on the ticketing website!

Washrooms
Universal washrooms are available in the Bear Creek Stadium. 

Snacks & Beverages 
Food trucks will be onsite on select nights. 
You can bring your own snacks and drinks but remember to take all your waste home with you at the end of your visit and sort it into the appropriate waste streams.
